Canvas Message: "The entered License Key is not valid. Please check your license key"
Overview: Canvas License keys are specific to its version. For instance: If you install Canvas X and try to use a key from an earlier version (e.g. Canvas X 2019), the following message will appear:
Applies To: Canvas X, Canvas X Geo, Canvas X3, Canvas X Draw
Steps To Resolve:
- Delete any old installers from your desktop. This prevents confusion as the installer name my look similar to other versions.
- Uninstall Canvas X from your computer:

Uninstall Canvas X on Mac - Log into your Canvas ID User Portal. In the "My Apps" section, locate the version you wish to install. The license key and download link for that version will be listed.
- Download the Canvas X version, open the installer and follow the screens.
- After installation is complete, run Canvas X.
- You will be prompted to input your Canvas ID Account email, password and then License key.
- Once successful, you will receive a message that your copy of Canvas X is active.
