Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between a canvasxdraw Perpetual License and a Subscription?
A: The primary difference between these two options is your access to software upgrades and new feature releases. At Vector GFX, we are committed to the continual improvement of our products. We plan to frequently introduce new features and advanced capabilities based on user feedback to ensure our tools remain competitive and cutting-edge. Here is how our licensing models support that mission:
Subscription License (Recommended): A subscription provides the most comprehensive experience. While your subscription is active, you are entitled to all updates we deliver.
This includes every bug fix, every performance enhancement, and—most importantly—every new feature and major version release (e.g., moving from canvasxdraw 2025 to 2026). This ensures you are always working with the most current and powerful version of our software.
Perpetual License: A perpetual license allows you to "own" a specific version of the software. You are entitled to all maintenance updates and bug fixes associated specifically with the version you purchased (e.g., if you buy canvasxdraw 2025, you will receive all 2025-specific patches). However, a perpetual license does not include "major" upgrades to future versions or new feature sets released after your purchase.
