Applying a Mirror Effect

You can quickly and easily mirror objects, paths, and images. Using this tool, you can create one half of a drawing and then mirror that half to create a whole, symmetrical drawing.

To Mirror Objects, Paths, or Images:

  1. Select an object, path, or image.
  2. Choose Effects | Mirror.
  3. Click to establish a starting point, then drag and rotate your cursor around the mirror reference line (dotted line) to establish the axis. You can hold down SHIFT to move the mirror axis by 45 degree increments.
  4. Click to establish the ending point.
